Hollyoaks

While talking about Hollyoaks, I think they should be congratulated for being probably the only soap in recent years to tackle grief head on! All the others just seem to sent the bereaved away on holiday for a couple of weeks after the funeral with them coming back recovered, but Hollyoaks are showing Max and Mandy going through the full effects of grief, and also brought issues such as funeral arrangements, wills and custody onto the screen.

Although I thought killing off Mr C was sacrilidge, the producers have managed to give the tired characters of Max and Mandy a whole new situation to be involved in.

Hollyoaks has been really good this week with the trial, it makes a change as IMO the show has been quite boring in recent weeks.
