I watched ITV yesterday about 8:00 and it was the music that it was in the original 2006 version.

It's strange that both versions are still airing, I've seen the holidays are coming version both on UTV and Channel 4 but yet the old version is still airing on network. Why would this be?

Well, Coca Cola Bottlers Ireland operate in Ireland and Northern Ireland. I'd guess that they buy the advertising slots on UTV and Channel 4 NI (though I may be entirely wrong about this). Maybe the UK bottling company aren't using the reworked version, or maybe (and hopefully) they just aren't using it yet.

I'm actually glad they've updated the advert now - it's a good idea well executed. It's one of they adverts that you can see being shown for years to come (like the trucks).
The original soundtrack was poor and completely forgettable. I'm glad they came to their senses and put the music on it. Let's just hope they won't show the first version again...

That's very odd, actually - not only are they apparently showing two versions of "The Greatest Gift", they're going to throw in "Christmas Caravan" (???) on the 24th.
I'd be happy just hearing the proper music with the new advert.

I new theyd sneak it in somewere i really like the new advert with the 'Holidays Are Coming' music but it still just dosnt feel like christmas without the original advert.
