i dont want to spoil it for you but this is definitely what coca-cola should have done (in regards to the ending, you'll see what i mean!).

Is that what was shown on UTV, with that ending? Or is it just the new ad with the old music? Because if it's the latter, I could well sue!

Somehow I really doubt that you could - unless you hold the copyrights to both the advert imagery and the Holidays are Coming music.

I missed the first 14 seconds of the ad, so as you can see the Holidays are Coming music doesn't start until 15 seconds into it. It's a totally different arrangement to the original trucks music.

Now why didn't they just do that in the first place?

I like the different arrangement to the music - fits pretty well.

Well, it's nicer. But...I still had the idea gosh darn it! Can you get the full version up, because that is very good!

Must agree, I love the slightly modernized music to the advert. The music has defiantly become a tradition for many people at Christmas time and this was a great move to make by Coca-Cola. A number of people have mentioned to me about not seeing and most importantly hearing the music, so the Coca-Cola Christmas Ad 2 should draw quite alot of attention.

The company name is mentioned throughout the song, and the logo is all over the new advert why would they not own the copyright to either?

Ah well, it's Christmas anyway, it's not right to sue someone at Christmas, even if they are a supposedly evil multi-million corporation that produces a drink I don't even like.

Probably the intention all along. That music (and therefore that advert!) has always been left until nearer the date!

Who knows? Still love it though. Christmas isn't the same without that song. Very Happy

'Tis the season it's always the real thing! Is what I came sum up for this new version, I like the advert, but the music let it down, but nice to hear it back albeit slightly different.

I've still got the original Trucks advert on VHS from 1996, I can't believe it's more than 10 years old now!
