I watched this debarcle last night and I was so angry at the Curtis Family.
The first impression that I got of the "crowning" ceremony of Malocolm, was that this family were on a power trip, to have all these poor and desperate people going without food to have a ceremony for him to be Chief of the village, well, I thought it was disgusting, and the attitude of the daughter, well, there was no christianity in that.
I did not feel that there was any need for them to stay in the village with the ants running over the food and for them to be in the situation that they could become seriously ill due to the poor hygiene, it was disgraceful.
Why could they not have stayed in the hotel that they went to when they left and come to the village each day in the coach?
There was no doubt that there was poverty there, but did they have to dump them in the middle of it all?
After all, they had enjoyed (the mothers words) a week of luxurty in Cancun, so I feel that this was a shoddy act by ITV to make this out to be a supposed 'holiday' for the Littlechilds.

Shame on you ITV trying to make out as though they were shallow, shame on you.

All together now!:

God is great, God is good
And we're gonna thank Him for our food
We're gonna thank Him morning, noon and night
We're gonna thank You, Lord, you're outta sight!
etc, etc, etc!

Harry Hill's take on this was even funnier, when he put the Lord's Prayer to music!

Well sorry if this seems blasphemous but I wasn't sad enough to remember the exact lyrics - I just got that off a website (apart from the etc, etc, etc bit!)

I think had my parents watched this they might've classed those people as god-botherers, but they might've had a few things to say about the other family too! :p
