Another show that every single person predicted would be crap except for the ITV bosses is axed!

Notice though that Fat Families and Real Good Life have now cropped up on Sunday evenings.

On the subject of predicting shows that could be axed mid way through their run, I found these two 'gems' on Applausestore, which sound absolutley dire from the descriptions given....

Quote:
READY STEADY JOE is the huge new ITV1 Saturday night primetime show, presented by King of the Jungle Joe Pasquale, where the audience are as much a part of the show as Joe himself!

Hosted (appropriately enough) by Joe Pasquale, its an hour of studio mayhem and madness – with games, celebrities, stunts and prizes, plus a 500-strong studio audience waving items of tat in the air. And of course, it’s also got a great big dollop of Pasquale – showcasing everything from his magic act to his love for enormous props.

Each week Joe will be selecting people from the audience to join him on set and take part in games involving celebrities, stunts and prizes. So if you want to be a part of the madness and mayhem, and you’re a big fan of Joe reserve your tickets now.

JOE PASQUALE's WHOLE NEW BALL GAME Comedian and King of the Jungle Joe Pasquale is to host this brand new, hilarious, interactive ITV1 entertainment show and we are really excited to offer you the chance to be in the audience.

If you want to be a part of something new and are a fan of Joe's then get in touch. The show will be packed full of games, celebrity interviews and of course Joe's gags. As part of the audience you will not just be sitting back and laughing, you will also get the chance to join in with the fun and games.

Anyone else remembering Judgement day with that other faded 90's presenter Brian Connelly? Pasquale wasnt on TV for years pre-IACGMOOH because he was crap - take note ITV bosses!! Just because he won your reality show last year doesnt make him a fantastic presenter guaranteed to bring big audiences to your 'entertainment' shows Rolling Eyes

Completly agree with you there. It's the word "celebrity" which kills off most formats. If a format is good, it doesn't need so called celebrity endorsement!

While not forgetting that The X Factor and Saturday Night Takeaway are amongst the most popular Saturday night programmes (and Pop Idol, which in recent weeks it has been suggested will return) that's about all ITV have.

I think they should seriously consider taking the BBC's lead and look at reviving some of their older hits. Gladiators would be the best place to start!

Another idea would be Don't Try This at Home, but maybe revamped into more of a gameshow to provide a weekly dose of I'm a Celeb style cruelty!

Aren't these the same show under two different working titles?

To be fair, he was good on Tiny & Mister Duk's Huge Show.

Well the tickets being offered for the shows are seperate so they cant be the same show, unless ITV have failed to give the proper information to Applausestore.
