Basically what happened was the vision of the video went off leaving a black screen with graphics and the sound of under the bridge. Then the graphics wenty and the screen flicked before that appauling excuse for a caption came up.
At least we got a caption, the EMAP channels usually don't (Well, The Box did prior to September 2000). They don't crash that often any more though, but during 2000 & 2001 after the new systems were introduced) they used to crash several times a day, meaning we had black (or coloured) screens and silence- nothing else. In some ways it was funny to watch but one evening I'd heard A1's "same old brand new you" so many times (it was the first song that played when the system was back on-line) I wanted to scream!
Anyone else catch the Kerrang and Kiss-branded programmes on Friday night / Saturday Morning respectively? Is the Hits branching out to become more than just a music request channel?
If so can we have a Q programme? TheHits already caters for the Kiss Massiv- it plays loads of RnB cr@p.
Will The Hits therefore become Emap's barker channel? If so then Freeview's full of em - SSN, TMF, FTN, UKBI.
