Bad news folks HE GONE! Just had an E-mail off BBC weather, who say that Dans Stint at The BBC has now ended, but they are in talks with him to come back. Lets hope and pray that this happens.

Well that's a damn shame - but at least the door isn't closed forever. I for one hope he will be back, and soon as well.

I've noticed this week on World, that they've recruited a new weather forecaster, seemingly to replace Dan - his name is Tom Schaf.... something! He's not as good as Dan though!

From the little I saw of him, he is Tom Schafernacker (sp?) He stood in at Points West for a few days or so recently.

How can you even mention his name in the same sentence as the legend that is Mr Corbett?! This man is a feeble imposter. Bring back Dan the Man!!!

I wonder if his wage demands are high- prob are due to him being able to get jobs all over the US.

Break the bank Beeb to bring him back!
