Anyone remember in his last BBC forecast when he shockingly said "Thats the weather............ FOREVER!"??
I was stunned

TW
Seriously? Did he say that? What a legend!
And I've made a fantastic discovery! I was really upset that his forecasts weren't available in the UK, only on World. Until today, when I realised that if you go to the BBC Weather website and click on the "Launch Video Console" link in the top right hand corner, you can see video of weather forecasts from the UK and from BBC WORLD!
And today, the world forecast is hosted by the one and only Mr "That's the weather...for now" Daniel Corbett! You have to watch it, it's like a dream come true!

I saw him on BBC World last week thinking he's good, and you all agree with me!
I notice he says alot...
''look at that, 50 degrees!''
''big blobs of cloud''
''heat of the day storms''
''i think they'll be looking for swimming pools and all sorts''
''a troublemaker over here'' (refering to typhoons)
and the infamous ''that's the weather, for now''

Not an attempt to copy you, but I also emailed him and got a reply today - like yours saying that he was just filling in for three months, and that he may be on News 24 in September.
Didn't mention that a good response could keep him back for good though - I do hope he gets one, it would be good to see some real personality presentation on BBC Weather.
