Listening to 5 Live this morning, it was nice to hear Dan "take your brolly with you" Corbett back in this country. Wonder when we'll see him on TV? Razz

I wonder if he will tell us the weather before we take the dog for a walk or sommat!

Dan is back for a couple of months at least I think, and very nice it is to see him. I think he is starting on World and Radio shifts - though I bet he pops up elsewhere as well. Be great to see him back on 24 with the weather "...for now"

Hurrah!! The saviour of weather returns!! It's good to know he is back to save us all once again - he would have loved the recent weather - plenty of oppertunities to "scrape the rust off the bbq." Hope he does pop back up on News 24 or national though!!

Yes, that's right - he's had quite a few shifts on BBC World in the last few weeks. I love his little reach out to the viewer and nod when he says "that's the weather, for now".

Yeah, I was on holiday last week and saw him on BBC World - he is a fantastic weather forecaster. He was telling us that people in the UK would be "looking for swimming pools and things like that"! Is he back permanently?

lol, yes I saw that forecast too. On another one he likened a tropical storm to an army of ants!! He did say something about a barbeque as well, but I can't remember that one properly!

I thought he'd gone to Texas for good? Wonder what's brought him back?

I saw him on BBC World last week thinking he's good, and you all agree with me!

I notice he says alot...

''look at that, 50 degrees!''
''big blobs of cloud''
''heat of the day storms''
''i think they'll be looking for swimming pools and all sorts''
''a troublemaker over here'' (refering to typhoons)
and the infamous ''that's the weather, for now''
