Can someone help: I thought with Telewest, you got

I thought with Yorkshire Cable tv, you got a tv guide. Am I wrong?

I am assuming Yorkshire Cable is Telewest. If this is the case, you should receive the incredibly well named 'Zap' every month (though it usually comes in the middle of the month, which isn't really that clever)

... but it is called 'Cable Guide' if you have ordinary analogue cable tv

Well, if Telewest were competent, you would get your new Cable Guide a couple of days before the new month. But Telewest South East (you are obviously Yorkshire) always sent ours about half a month late. So it really depends how good your local office is. But you should certainly be getting a listings magazine of some sort

I've just phoned Yorkshire Cable, sorry, Telewest and they say we get a magazine called Zap which is a short mag with just promos of new programmes on certain channels.

What use is that to me? I want one for when I go on holiday so I can look at what's on daily and set my VCR!

When I was with Sky Analogue, they sent a comprehensive tv guide every month!

As I say, Telewest Communications are incompetent, that's why we went to Sky Digital and not Active Digital!

I wish I could! I've got 11 months of a contract to finish yet!

The normal Sky doesn't get the guide anymore. I don't think they get anything. Of course Sky Digital Viewers get the magazine with very few pages which don't intrest me in the slightest and I have to say mostly contains ad's.

I mean HOW MANY ADS CAN YOU FIT IN THAT TINY LITTLE THING. ANYMORE AND IT'S JUST A JUNK MAIL MAG! (If it's not that already)

If they want to tell us things they could just use the Sky Info channels or create a new one. Sky Mag Channel or Something...

The Sky mag is not worth the paper its printed on.

It regularly has features about new services that haven't appeared yet and are not going to appear for another 3 months. I don't even bother opening our mag anymore. It takes too long find the little thing among all those adverts and 'REVEAL 3 STARS AND WIN £1,000,000' scratchcard things.

It just goes straight in the bin.
