Just thought I would create a thread to discuss the latest series of ITV's Hell's Kitchen.

Since Friday ITV1 have been airing Hell's Kitchen break bumpers and just before Ant and Dec we were introduced to a full-length Hell's Kitchen ident.

The ident was very tasteful and just goes to show how flexible idents and presentation are/can be.

This week on ITV1 we have seen new ITV DAY, ITV1 evening and Hell's Kitchen idents. Also there was a Gerrard/Liverpool ITV1 ident aswell.

I think presentation has improved on ITV1 and it's going in the right direction!

In Scotland, two station idents are in use, together with the break bumper. The longer one that starts at the table has the station name to the left, and the shorter one with the two chefs side by side has the station name centred; they both look classy. They featured around Corrie on Friday and yesterday afternoon.

I just found out that the people involved this year ARENT celebrities! How are ITV going to maintain viewer figures with ordinary members of the public and the absence of Gordon Ramsay?!!! After all, it is HELLS kitchen - the name seems incorrect for the show this time round.

Do not worry, there are plenty celebrity shows coming soon on ITV, including Celebrity Stitch-Up and Celebrity Wrestling together at the weekend.

I don't think that was the point he was making Rolling Eyes

I have to say I am getting tired of all these Celeb based Reality Shows will be good to see something different (or slightly different) like this. No doubt I'll start ranting about Tara Palmer-thingybob the next few weeks! Mad

Do SMG have to pay ITV1 for the use of their Idents seeing as it was made for the network?

Like The Farm, I didn't watch this last year as I felt it needlessly used Celebrities and needlessly had the public vote.

I'd have much rather seen members of the public in both shows being judged on how they improve, not on their popularity!

Even though the format has changed I can't see me getting into this series either - again as they almost certainly will determine the winner by the public vote rather than their talent.

I also think with the changes in format running it I'm a Celeb style nightly over two weeks is not the best way to do things - it be better as a weekly series running over a couple of months (as I think the US version will be!).

Is the writing on the wall for this programme? 30% of those watching at the start of Monday’s show, ditched it before the end. Last night it achieved an audience share of only 15%. We all know the Network cannot sustain this level in peak. Therefore, it is going to very interesting to see what develops.
Has anyone else noticed that when ITV removes an under performing show, the replacement nearly always does SO much better. It makes me wonder why they did not show the substitute programme to start with.

Its always the same celebrities dining, not getting any food, hence getting drunk easily, falling over. Rolling Eyes

I really resent the fact that Paul Burrell is now a celebrity. He is nothing but a big pansy!

Also, last night I noticed Jon Culshaw dining with Five weathergirl Lara Lewington - are these two an item because I've often seen them together? Confused

Culshaw used to go out with the tv presenter Esther McVey, but now I see her on the arm of Mal Young.
