The Heaven and Earth Show

Anyone catch the new look Heaven and Earth today ('twas on Beeb 2 today)? New presenters - Max Flint, and some female from Five Live (forget her name) , complete with new set/music/graphics.

The new set is rather bright - with sofas, and more guests than before. The format seemed to be slightly different. Before we would have guests debating on an issue - but now they seemed to read out e-mails and other such crap.

A bit *too* different for my liking - although i'll probably get used to it.

I also notice they have reinstated the words *the* and *Show* which were removed from the old programmes titles a couple of years ago.

Seemed a bit clinical today - Ross and Alice got on so well IMO - plus the music was great.

Anyone know why both Ross and Alice left together?

I agree with you 'Breakfast News' - the two new presenters, set, graphics, music and so on is not a patch on what it used to be.

Alice & Ross were fantastic, ideally suited to this show. They were naturals unlike the two who have taken over.

As 'Breakfast News' asked - does anyone know why they left?
