Headline Beds

I also like the Business Today Headline Bed, so PLEASE can somebody get it for us!

I haven't heard the Business Today bed, can anyone describe it for me?

does anyone have the ITV News intro and headline music? All these requests that rarely get answered!

I do indeed and I intend to update my website soon with all the current ITV News themes.

My fave has to be BBC One'o'clock News 1993-1999 - that wonderful headline bed then suddenly into that fantastic sting! (From Isonstine's site). Aaaah, those were the days - it's a shame all the BBC One news now uses the same theme.

Also, BBC News on One went corporate before 1999 - it happened slightly in 1993. The themes introduced in 1993 for News at One, Six, Nine and Breakfast were all slight variaions on the themes there had been before, but they all used the same (or similar) sequence of nine-or-so notes to introduce the theme, all played very differently on each (if that makes any sense!).

So, to summarise - my favourite headline bed was One'o'clock News 1993+.

but actually getting it is proving to be a very hard task.

I liked the News at Nine one. Wheever I think of that, I see Michael Buerk reading the headlines!!

Yes, i agree, that was my favourite era - slight variations of the same music, like the new ones, and the different shades of background for the different times of day - that would be great if they did that now.

The style of each of the music and the shades of the background gave the news a different feeling each time - eg: the nine o clock news - ver sombre colours and dark and menacing music- and the one light colours and cool music!!

The whole 1999+ format is crap - take note BBC for your next revamp in 4 years time!!!
