Anyone watch this last night? I saw some of it. I like Prince William and Harry's acting like two regulary guys. The sketch involving Gordon Brown was quite good aswell. Found Victoria Beckham annoying. I thought 2DTV was a good show and this could be as good, I prefrer the 2DTV animiation though.

Gordon Brown sounded like Ian McCaskill to me. Quite a good episode though but I think I prefered 2DTV, see how it pans out.

It was ok, i quite liked it but wasn't amazingly funny by any means. Some really good stuff like the 'Piers Morgan Show' but quite a bit of it was tedious. Definitely worth a chance though Smile

I think the fact is, nothing will ever beat Spitting Image.

Just been watching bits of last night's episode on YouTube despite me not liking the man I found that Robert Mugabe sketch at the end funny.

I loved the Victoria Beckham sketch, and the Dame Helen and Dame Judy one "I thought your first love was doughnuts, FATTY!" Laughing classic!

Is the first programme that Rory Bremner and Jon Culshaw have worked on together?

Completely forgot about it - how did it rate?

From the clips I'd seen I agree 2DTV looked better - never been a huge fan of 3D CGI animation - I think they can probably get away with more in 2D.

Is it repeated at all then?

I watched it, and enjoyed it. The jokes will get better no doubt, and I was laughing out loud to Robert Mugabe's farm, genious. Though I did find that I had that Madonna song in my head for a bit of time after.

The only problem with the animation is that usually 3D animation always looks like its 3D, no matter how you design the characters, 2DTV had a very different style of animation, where as headcases seemed to resemble a CITV programme called planet sketch.

As for the likeness, they were all spot on in my opinion, and very good to all working on the design front.

It was alright for me, nothing special. I definitely prefer 2DTV, which I suspect was a bit cheaper to make than Spitting Image, so is more likely to return. Not sure why it ended. Up to about series 3 it was great, but then they lost a lot of the decent voice artists. If they managed to get more writers and many more voice actors and actresses, then it could be as big as Spitting Image, if they brought it back.

I liked it a lot: there were certainly some sagging points, but things like Piers Morgan, Gordon Brown and Robert Mugabe's Farm were hilarious.
