I need as many signatures as possible thanks very much

What are you planning to do with this petition - give it to the producers???!!! The set is fine as it is, and is suitable for its breakfast time slot. I don't think that production are going to be influenced to change their set from a low key petition to be honest.

I really do not see the point of this. There are much more important things in the world to petition about than the dressing of a morning TV set. I see no reason to encourage a petition like this, seeing as though it won't actually hold any weight anyway.

Well, first their are petitions to be signed to make povery history, for democracy in Zimbabwe and for America to accept it's environmental responsibilities.


Once all these problems are dealt with, I may find time to look at this!

I would rather sign a petition to end Poverty, then to change the GMTV studio..

If you don't like the studio, then just don't watch it, it's not like you have a gun pointing at your head.

Or why not just try and E-Mail the producers if you're that angry.

Or, just do as I do, forget the telly and listen to BBC Radio 2 at breakfast instead.

Oh come on - so often here someone makes a simple suggestion, and they are rudely shot down with irrelevant remarks
If you deem the concept so trivial in the face of world poverty, why are you all faffing about on a television presentation website?
Get out there and start fundraising, or go over to Africa and start some volunteer work

I've never heard such nonsense. Give the guy a break. We're all interested in television presentation - there's no need to demean someone's interests with stupid comparisons.

We could all do that every minute of every day.

We take an interest in TV Pres yes, but we're not so obsessed with it that we'd start an online petition to get rid of a plant on a morning television set.....

I can take or leave the programme personally as I normally only see the thing for about half an hour anyway!

The only reason the telly's on, is so there's a clock on screen, in my sister's opinion.

If it was down to me, the BBC local radio would be on !
(And you regulars know which station I listen to !)
