Well we have a soap based in Deva, so there.

Streetmate has been here and Davina described it has having 'the most attractive people anywhere in the UK,' which is totally true.

The BBC Philharmonic were here yesterday

Granada Reports has been here plenty of times, not sure about North West Tonight.

Songs of Praise, they've been here.

Antiques Roadshow

Sky News was at my gym during the election campaign

Practically every news organisation stationed itself around Chester during the Louise Woodward trial, Sky especially.

Channel 4 Racing comes to Chester every year, because it's a very important course

The village next to me attracted just about every news network with the internet adoption saga and that couple from North Wales.

I think it's the 'me-effect'. They're all after that exclusive interview.

Plus of course Bradford (which is only 10 minutes from me) got a lot of coverage when the riots were taking place during the summer.

The BBC's 'North of England Correspondent' Kevin Buquet (or whatever) was live at the scene on BBC News 24 and BBC One.

Interesting was 2 live reports on BBC News at 1/News 24 on the following Monday, They looked to be in totally different places, but to those in the know, all they did was turn the camera 180 degrees!

Yeah, Bradford is trying to build a positive image, since they want to win the Capital of Culture 2008 award.

Mine has a few times. Especially during the election.

I live in Maidenhead which is a very conservative area. How ever during the elction I was out canvasing for another political party and we were filmed by Meridian TV.

The Labour candatte, John O'Farrel (also rights for Have I Got News For You) also was filming a series about the election. You may have seen it on Newsnight. I also got a shock when watching it realised he lived in the house two doors down when he was a child!

He came to my school and we had him under the spotlight!

Now please lets not get into an argument on politics!

Songs of Praise has come from Boston's St Botolph's Parish Church twice, 1977 and 2000.

Antiques Roadshow came here in the early 80s

Look North have come here to film Boston United and also, before I developed a crush on him, Paul Hudson did a Look North item from Boston, called 'Paul's Places'.

Actually going slightly OT (and I don't care because i've been drinking), after some of the first riots, in mid may, a group of recovering drunken people were forced to see the same 10 secs of video coverage about 15 times with 5News Breafast and the BB news, it became really infuriating in the end!
Anyway i'l do a list of Nuneatons appearances (well mostly mentions), such as Maid Marion, Nuneaton was given a mention, later some time when i'm not finding it so hard to remember where letters are (and I mean in words not on the keyboard)! http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/cheesy.gif http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif [insert out of focus smily here].
