Can anyone remember when HTV had a company called Harvest Productions?  Apparently they owned First Independent Distribution.  They made Budgie The Little Helicopter.

And I didn't know that HTV made 'The Time, The Place!'

I got all this info from HTV's 1997 website on the Web Archive.

I thought TTTP was Thames TV?

Maybe the compliance passed to HTV in 1993. Because I know the programme used to be made by the franchises around the country.

Yeah I remember Harvest. What happened to them?

I thought The Time The Place was an Anglia production, or maybe because it toured the country it became the production of whichever ITV company it found itself at.

I certainly seem to remember it being at Norwich a lot of the time.

it had the same arrangement as Highway in the beginning with one ITV station taking responsibility for the co-ordination. Hence Tyne Tees's old London office used to co-ordinate Highway, Get Fresh and Ghost Train. Thames co-ordinated TTTP until this method was abandoned, then Anglia took over all the production of it no matter where it went, they did the same with Morning Worship..

I think Harvest merged into United Productions, when HTV was taken over.
