SATURDAY 17 FEBRUARY: their you go

Harry Hill's TV Burp 5:35pm - 6:05pm

Dancing on Ice: 6:05pm - 7:20pm

Primeval 7:20pm - 8:20pm

Dancing on Ice - the Skate Off 8:20pm - 8:50pm

PokerFace 8:50pm - 9:50pm

Al Murray's Happy Hour 9:50pm - 10:50pm

Interesting that they have the Skate Off on before Pokerface next Saturday.

I think that maybe they are changing the programme times around on purpose to see what type of ratings they get. E.g. Dancing on Ice between Primevil and PokerFace will probably get both shows better ratings - just my thoughts.

My favourite bit was the "Amanda Barrie is back on TV" bit. I couldn't help but burst out laughing at that!

Another great bit Laughing

Liked the changing of heads of Blanche as well, also I cringed at the whole Emily Bishop / Rita bit as well Laughing

I really wanted Harry to ressurrect his slipper-waering Emily Bishop and do a dance slapping his thighs! There was loads of avenues of humour that he didn't go down. I thought the fight was going to be between the blister and a sausage? Really random I know - but just the thought of it got me laughing!

It may also be to save DOI's ratings as if it were moved later it would clash with Casualty which itself has been moved later due to Match of the Day. ITV have scheduled Primeval straight after Match of the Day and head to head with the dire 'When will I be famous?' so they're bound to win again next week.

No unfortunately I have Freeview, I can time record on the DVD recorder but it's actually timing it itself, also I don't think VideoPlus works via the AV2 output

VideoPlus will work (it doesn't even need an aerial to be present), you're probably thinking of Programme Delivery Control (PDC) which the recorder looks out for and doesn't start recording until its told.

Anyway it doesn't work on any platform bar analogue terrestrial AFAIK so the recorder will just record the times you set. Therefore the solution is to record ten minutes either side of the published times and that covers 99% of cases.
