Oh i didnt watch it all the way to the end as it stopped half way through. Dodgy connection for me.

Same here at about 5:56 it stopped. To watch the rest drag the bar to about 7:12 and it goes through the rest of the episode with no problems with the exception of a slight judder near the end Very Happy

What year is that from? I think it must be 2002.

It was definately 2001, I remember it being advertised to death for it's pilot, which was broadcast a few days before Christmas of that year, they never repeated it, but by October of 2002 it was back on for a series.

As long a gap as that, never realised. Did the titles & caption from the pilot remain or did it change to the current style?

What was the programme Harry did with Neil and Christine Hamilton being shot from a cannon? I'm sure he did TV Burp style bits in that as well.

That was The Harry Hill Show, it ran for one series in 2003, and it wasn't very good, but when that was dropped we got an extra run of TV Burp in it's place.

Last Saturdays was well funny, i loved the 70's version of TV Burp that they mocked up!

having just watched the repeat, i couldn't help but notice channel tv mentioned in the credits. a quick look back reveals that the testcard from the 70s tv burp sketch had been cropped - but originally it said IBA Channel Television

firstly its a shame they cropped the testcard. but also it seems odd they went to the trouble of contacting jersey for a still of a testcard, where as i'd imagine it'd be easier and more logical to get it from the archives at thames/granada/lwt or even bbc.

What's even weirder is that it's the electronic version of the testcard that came in from 1984. Was that really used on ITV? I thought they'd dropped it by then.

To paraphrase mister Harry:

"Uncropped regional testcards: more of them please!"

You never see any gameshows for dogs do you? Mm?
