As I've said in the Primeval thread ITV probably have one too many programmes in the Saturday night schedule at the moment (the same happened in the Autumn with Afterlife).

Something has to be on against the football, and though it's disapointing Harry Hill - and the programmes that follow - move about the schedule virtually every week, I'm glad they didn't concede and instead were willing to compete with the schedule.

I think it was also alot more to do with the boxing on ITV1 late last night too - otherwise I think most programmes would have been on air a good half an hour later.

2.2 million weren't.

Though I agree, it's more to do with being opposite the football - but ITV shouldn't have scheduled it against the football.

So what should they have scheduled against the football? A 2 hour long episode of You've Been Framed?

Harry Hill is repeated many times anyway, and the figure it got was around what it used to get in earlier series

They should have moved Dancing on Ice earlier and had Harry Hill after it.

why, and anyway it would have still clashed with the football, it didn't finish until 7.20

I am sure the schedulers - as thick and inept as they are - would have been capable of scheduling Harry Hill better. It's obvious the show can get great ratings as seen last week.

It's not just one programme in the schedule though - last night's scheduling was all about protecting Primeval - and that's why it got the post footy slot.

The only realistic slot ITV had not against the football last night was around 4.30pm - but that would have got more complaints!

Wouldn't have done any real harm to drop it for a week either - but that probably get even more complaints!

Harry Hill's TV Burp - 3.9m (22.0%)

A loss of 2.2 million. ITV are truly retarded.

3.9 Million is still good, it was nearer to ratings that it achieved when it was on at 10.30pm in the early days. Also note 22.0% audience share is good, considering the fact the average for ITV1 is now below 20%.

There is plenty of room for all the programmes currently showing on a Saturday night. If there wasnt they wouldnt be able to fit in the "extra programme" as you call it. If they didnt show Primeval for example they would have an hour at the end of the night left to fill.

Oh for goodness sake. I remember we were promised a later slot and that's what we got for the first few weeks but now it's what it was like last year with it at 5.30pm.

I thought Harry Hill was originally going to quit TV Burp because the show was getting moved around alot - or am I wrong about this, and ITV promised a later slot, so he would continue to do TV Burp.

Saturday 3rd March is not confirmed yet
In fact all the shows are neatly scheduled on the hour of half past so it definally won't be the correct schedule

Next week he is on at 6.10pm, write that down people, no excuse for missing it next week, 6.10pm ITV1!
