Hurrah, Harry Hill's TV Burp is on. I love this programe. I think Harry has done a good serive to Saturday evenings as YBF format is a lot better than the in-vision presenting since Beadle, and of course TV Burp is a legendary show!

ITV1 are certainly are building up the comedy tonight:

17:10 - 18:10 New You've Been Framed Sports!
18:10 - 18:40 Harry Hill's TV Burp!
22:00 - 23:00 Al Murray's Happy Hour

I think Harry Hill is one of those rare people who can work in both adult and family slots.

Talking of the late night slot, whatever happened to 2DTV?

That, paired up with TV Burp, one hour during the week would be perfect!

some one said 2DTV was AXED although it was doing well!

I think there made it to long an 10 -15min slot was GOOD

instead of 28 minturs of fillers.

Was it a repeat or an epsiode "kept on the shelf" from 2005?

Great episode of TV Burp - Dont think it was as strong as previous first episodes but still enjoyable nethertheless.

I'm not a fan of YBF myself, regardless of format used, however TV Burp is halarious. It just shows, take any clip from this weeks TV, cut it up, add a voiceover and 'voila!', it becomes very funny.

On the subject of 2DTV, I don't think it was neccessarily axed, it's just Jon Culshaw supposedly left to spend more time creating Dead Ringers, and he did a lot of the voices. It's a shame however as 2DTV, IMHO, is one of the best shows in ITV's recent years. I could just imagine if it was still about, I'm sure they would have been making fun of Jade Goody one way or another.

It went rather down hill after Series 3 of 2DTV when Culshaw left, I also believe that was the point where Jan Ravens (another DR regular) also left the programme, up until that it was a rather funny show.

By the time it had ended, ISTR it was only being shown at 11.00pm on a Monday night and most of it was taking the mick out of Arnold Schrwazenegger and George W Bush being stupid, it's funny once, but it went on a while I think, they were probably right to end the show when they did.

Although you can pick up the 2DTV DVD Box sets rather cheap nowadays, usually less than £10.
