It's not TV Burp but it isn't trying to be. An enjoyable enough half hour. Anyone know the topics of the remaining episodes?

Medical dramas next week by the looks of the billings.

I enjoyed it. I found the latter series of TV Burp a bit silly and too focused on the on-going gags rather than the clips. This felt much more like the earlier series and could evolve to be as good as they were.

I chuckled at a few jokes, but overall I found it a tad boring. The horn popping up every few seconds for different words was quite grating after the first few times and it came across as a light documentary about the shows with the odd joke thrown in rather than something that was taking the proverbial.

As it was the first episode, maybe it was just finding its feet, I'll still be watching the next episode but to be honest, I was hoping for a lot more from this.

I'd forgotten how cheesy the tram crash effects looked. Especially when it's coming towards the camera.

A thumbs up from me, it had me laughing, although that was also after a few pints at the end of the weekend shifts.

I thought the effects were quite good, up to the point - like you said - where the tram is coming straight at the camera, the driver is still standing upright as the tram heads downwards, physics determine that he would have been thrown into the windscreen. It completely ruins the effect.

I enjoyed this, though not as much as I'd hoped as I was a huge TV Burp fan. Hopefully it just needs a few episodes to hit its stride!

Not sure ‘Soaps’ was the best episode to start on.

It was absolutely the obvious one to start with - like it or not they're the flagship genre of British TV.

Historical documentaries could be interested as when you think of them you think of David Starkey, and now when you think of David Starkey you think blacklisted.

It's not a medical drama unless it has an episode called The Ties That Bind Us (or some variation).

Multiple episodes it seems. The research that must go into these shows just to get half an hour of content. I would say I enjoyed this one more than last weeks - seemed much more random.
