The 10th series of Harry Hills TV Burp starts recording once again at BBC TV Centre on Thursdays from 7th October, and will presumably air on Saturday nights from 9th October (pre XF live shows). Seems there are 8 recordings in the run prior to Christmas.

Tickets will be made available soon via :

A bit of a slow start I think by Harry Hill's standards, although it's good that this series is running alongside the Apprentice, he always get's plenty of mileage out of that.

Think Heather, Knitted Character and Louis Spence should be rested now though.

Personally if we're going to have to put up with that "Team Fuzzy" nonsense, I would rather have Knitted Character back. So would lots of other people judging from the comments left on Facebook. At least it's adorable and seems to be rather popular, hopefully rather more than the dust brush ever will be.

"Heather" who constantly eats ceased to be funny from, well, ages ago really.
Louis Spence will probably drive everybody up the wall eventually and I suppose he won't be happy until he's been on every TV programme going. Very much like Carol Vorderman, who started on Countdown and then suddenly started appearing here, there and everywhere, culminating in appearing in copious adverts, which was wonderfully lampooned on Dead Ringers.

Not just Carol but she was certainly a benchmark back in the early 2000s and at least television is her trade. It's ex-sportsman/musicians I'm getting fed up with these days.. Phil Tufnell, Iwan Thomas, Austin Healey, Jamelia.. but yeah, I'm going off on some tirade about former famous people just turning up on TV for the sake of it.

Anyway, I agree it was a slow start. I think Heather and the sausage sketch is tedious now. Harry just seems to be picking up of various words and trying to make them into catchphrases rather than the wide variety of things he used to do albeit a bit silly. Still, I was looking forward to it's return all the same.

I thought it was strange he didn't even mention it was a new series! Felt like he'd just come back from a break tbh.

Wasn't the reason behind getting rid of the knitted character to do with it being a new series?

I noticed that one of the TVs in the opening titles is now showing Daybreak. What did that show before? The TV showing Coronation Street still has the old titles.

The Bill, I think, replaced for obvious reasons.

Thanks. That rings a bell now you mention it.

I think the Knitted Character is something to be kept, and oddly enough I didn't mind the dust brush and it's bizarre car-horn noises. But Heather and the sausage o'clock jokes are getting a bit irritating now. Other than that I think it was a decent first episode, and I've noticed these last few series that the show tends to improve with each episode.

...are you quite sure? It looked to me to be the current title sequence with the new end-shot of the rooftops.

The Heather joke's wearing a bit thin.
