Countdown is filmed weeks in advance as well though!
Not quite as far ahead as you might expect - according to Bothers Bar the recording last Monday will go out from the 16th November - just a 2 week turnaround.
thanks for that, guess nitted character can appear on pre-recorded shows if they are broadcast the same week, not much point it appearing on Corry this week, it won't bee seen until January

I know - I went to the recordings for this weeks episodes over 3 weeks ago. They are usually done in blocks, for example I think they are recording about 6 weeks worth in the next week or two, so there is always going to be a point where filming is close to broadcast. However, without getting into the ins and outs of when Countdown is filmed, it certainly isn't filmed the same week of broadcast which was the original point (that knitted character could only be on shows filmed that week)

PLEASE NOTE: there is more than one Steve brown. and hes a bugger to get hold of. the Correct one! I have had no luck enquire about some of the piece. He does All the piece for the show, Theme, jingles, etc
