This series runs to the end of March.

Why does my TV Mag say 1/8 then? Are they going to advertise it as the Tenth Series after Christmas?

They'll probably do what they done last year.. have a break around Christmas and show a few repeats and start again mid January.

Last year though my TV Mag said 1/20... Confused

Don't worry - TV Mag isn't the fountain of all knowledge with TV listings. Otherwise the world would be doomed.

Thought it was great. Thank goodness its now on their online player this year.

The line about Roy Cropper - "you knew that when you married her" had me in stiches.

Correct me if I'm wrong - but is the nitted character behind the presenters on the one show !! Laughing

Excellent overnights. 6.7m on Saturday and 4.6m for yesterday's repeat.

Confused Yes I know that - no need to patronise. All I was pointing out was it seems odd. Plus, 8 episodes only takes up to end of November. Even 10 would take us up to 12th December, which to me seems a little premature for a Christmas break.

Could be wrong. Just speculating.

I wasn't trying to patronise you, I'm just referring to its inherent inaccuracies.

There were 9 recording dates for this side of Christmas.

These are likely to consist of 8 in the run up to Dec 12th (X Factor Final weekend), followed by a Christmas Special scheduled in Christmas week. Then there are 14 episodes schedule for the first quarter of 2010 (some of these might be 'Best of Episodes' in the early part of the new year).

Tonights' was top class. Really good. Though I'm not totally sure about introducing a competition. Doesn't suit the show.
