This would be a bad mistake for Harry Hill and I would lose a lot of respect for him if he moved just for money.

If it means the return of the studio set on YBF, I'd be happy. Nobody does voiceovers like Harry - and nobody should.

Whatever happened to Lisa Riley?

She was doing theatre, last time I heard.

He's at the top of his game and I thought he had ITV wrapped around his little finger. I really can't see why he would want to move to Sky1.

From the reports I read, Sky are offering him more freedom to persue other projects on the channel as well. Harry has had about 2 or 3 pilots rejected from ITV in the past couple of years so this might well be what sways him

Wasn't he supposed to have a spoof soap pilot at ITV, Soapington Way - or am I imagining things? Maybe that never happened as they ordered a double-length TV Burp series instead.

But yeah - think he'd lose a lot of respect moving to Sky for the money. And a hell of a lot of exposure too, look what happened to Harry Enfield.

If he were to move, or defect as you could put it, would ITV dig their heels in to deny the use of their television clips for any new Sky show?

Isn't it all clear for parody/review purposes anyway? I'm not sure which of those "taking the mick" falls under, though...

I don't know, Didn't the BBC used to ban the show from showing clips of EastEnders in the early days, until the BBC realised that the light banter/micky taking doesn't effect the programmes featured in any way.

They didn't give itv any "clean" clips, which was why it was always grainy taped off the tv stuff. I presume they got away with it under the review/fair usage stuff in the end otherwise they just wouldn't have risked it

It doesn't work anymore with the studio set, it needs to be a fast-paced show which is why it now continues in the format it does. Aside from the very first series with Beadle, the studio links were full of dire scripts.

Whatever happened to Lisa Riley?

I think that'd be down to the presenters. As dire the link may have been, it gave a show a little bit of warmth. To be fair, though, I'd turn that down against Harry's narration.

It had a pilot filmed but then ITV decided they didn't like the look of it.

To be honest if he went to Sky now I wouldn't be too bothered as the show is getting to a point where it would be better to end it than milk it. Losing him from You've Been Framed would be the bigger issue IMO.

If the show gets a repeat on Sky 3

Which wouldn't happen for a while as it would defeat the point of poaching him in the first place...
