Would this mean the end to Hill's stint on YBF too?

Well presumably. Must say I'm not keen on the idea of him leaving ITV as soon as the offer of more money is waved in his face.

This is terrible news for ITV and Harry if he decides. Ok great, more money for him, yet his show will be hidden away amongst Simpson repeats , 24 and Angela and Friends. I imagine the content of the show would change slightly too. Big shame. I do hope he sees its best for the show if he stays with ITV.

He would throw away his mainstream accessible appeal if he moved to Sky.

I agree, although Im contradicting myself here, the show was at its best when it was less mainstream. However I don't see the show getting any better if he moved to sky.

If the show gets a repeat on Sky 3, and if it gets advertising on ITV, it would be a smart move, as most of his audience are bound to get Freeview!

If he were to move, or defect as you could put it, would ITV dig their heels in to deny the use of their television clips for any new Sky show? A Sky show would be unlikely to pull in huge audiences so the loss of free programme advertising wouldn't be too great - besides, it's often stuff with consistently high ratings like the soaps and X Factor that Harry features on ITV currently anyway.

I guess if Harry goes, ITV will just have more new formats with Ant and Dec. But for goodness sake, don't give the YBF gig to Stephen Mulhernia.

If it means the return of the studio set on YBF, I'd be happy. Nobody does voiceovers like Harry - and nobody should.

If he goes to Sky he'll be known as 'didn't you used to be Harry Hill?'

With Lisa Riley or Jonathan Robbie's mate?

No thanks.

Isn't it all clear for parody/review purposes anyway? I'm not sure which of those "taking the mick" falls under, though...

It doesn't work anymore with the studio set, it needs to be a fast-paced show which is why it now continues in the format it does. Aside from the very first series with Beadle, the studio links were full of dire scripts.

Whatever happened to Lisa Riley?
