I could certainly tell there were some clips from some of the older series in there with the background coloured slightly differently and Harry seemed to be wearing 2 different pairs of glasses if you study it closely.

The number of badges and pens in his pocket also changed during the show too.

Also, the end song must have been before TV Burp adopted the ITV generic end style credits when they used to drift along the bottom of the screen - which was a few years ago now.

What makes you say that?

Well:-
Arrow cos Harry usually says "bye - see you next week" at the end of each show with the generic end style ITV credits, but before this, he would have just done the song and then the endcap come on and no goodbye.
Arrow Also, the song was a lot longer than it is now - to allow the credits time to run at the bottom of the screen.

Therefore, that's why I said that Very Happy

Thank you for that full and prompt answer.

Burger Barry must surely stretch back to about five years ago, in the really early days of the show before it found a proper timeslot.

Hope there's more old stuff to come, would love to see the bit again where he replaces the people in the Emmerdale titles with clips of himself dressed up, and Stouffer the cat appearing at the end!

Ha ha!! Where he says you can recreate the Emmerdale titles by moving a tray of broccoli in front of your face! Laughing

Anyone notice they cut Jonathan Ross out of the Burger Barry sketch on the Best Of show?

Also, no Goodfellas sponsorship on that show - except at the end where they mentioned the TV Burp website.

Really enjoyed looking back over the old clips. Smile

There's another Best Of show this Saturday - http://www.radiotimes.com/ListingsServlet?event=10&channelId=26&programmeId=90800758&jspLocation=/jsp/prog_details_fullpage.jsp - then it seems the show returns with new episodes the Saturday after that.

Well one of the Little Mo clips was of her with the guy who raped her - and that storyline was late 2003, I'm pretty sure of, so I would guess that some of the clips were from series 2?

The older clips were blurry as well.

I believe non-ITV clips were taped off-air. Obviously digital recording has got better in quality since.

the older clips were also ARCd to 16:9 which makes them a bit softer too.
