Which just about sums up the fanbase of Russell Brand to a tee!

Did you see what happened when he left Big Mouth?

Well now I'm annoyed - my media centre records a good 2 minutes before the scheduled start of a programme and god knows how much has been cut off the start by ITV1 starting early. I'll have to wait for the repeat on ITV2.

Surely there's some Ofcom rules that state a programme shouldn't start before the scheduled time?

According to my recording it started dead on 7:59.00, according to another forum BBC1 were running about 4 minutes late

I think the rules state that a programme is allowed to start up to a minute early although I could be wrong.

I think Corrie started early as well.Didnt bother me anyway, we were watching ITV1 from 6.50pm until the end of Corrie. I will watch Doctor Who at a later date and dont watch anything else on BBC1.

Yes, they were. To The Manor Born didn't start on BBC One until 2134. Rather annoyingly, we recorded SCD and watched Corrie but because the BBC was four minutes late, we ended up switching over too early and in the process, ruined SCD - we found out who won! Why can't channels keep to schedules? It's so annoying. It's bad enough that the ITV Lunchtime News always starts a couple of minutes before 1330.

On topic, and I honestly thought TV Burp was the funniest thing on TV this Christmas Day. I only laughed more at the pilot episode of One Foot In The Grave, which I got on DVD!

Burp was about the only thing I've wanted to see on Christmas day, and I have to say I was very disappointed.

The first few series of TV Burp were laugh out loud funny - I'd tell people they must watch, but they said they wouldn't because they can't stand Harry Hill.

The best thing about Burp was that Harry Hill wasn't a huge part of it - the writing was funny and so the clips.

But increasingly in the last series, and in the Christmas Episode - it was just dominated by Harry Hill doing not very funny sketches and I think the writing was pretty bad.

I fear for the next series.
