Anyone been to a recording of the show? Whats the experience like?

It's a very good atmosphere. You're there for a few hours, have a bit of a warm up, and then go through the whole show, and go back through to re do parts. The audience isn't that big, but everyone is hyped up ready for it. Overall it's always been a great night out.

And considering how many people have said they've been this series elsewhere in this thread I reckon a fair few forum members have been to the same recording without realising it!

Maybe!

Definately a better one this week. This series has definately been hit though due to what's been on aire.

Speak of which Bear Grylls is back yeseterday, which is great news as this was the highlight in many of Harry's shows last year. I wonder if Channel 4 held the series back so that he wouldn't mock it so much this time round Wink Laughing

Well you're in for a treat on Saturday. It was a great experience seeing it being recorded too. I was amazed at how Harry just amended the script during the retakes on the set, just in discussion through his headset and the stage manager. Comic genius! Liked how he got the audience to 'laugh' during retakes too. Often cracking a joke and then going straight into the retake.

I'd think they be more likely to put it forward so Harry Hill will mock it.

Any mention of the missing £250K value in the DoND box? I'd half expect Harry to produce a replica from under his desk and wonder where it had come from.

No mention of that in this weeks. I guess its because they roughly plan out the show using the preview dvds issued to the press.

And it doesn't really fit in with show.

I didn't reckon much from this week's show. A lot of editing and Harry seemed to drag pointless things on again. Still, there were some funny moments I suppose.

It's amazing how much they cut out. I went to the recording and they seemed to have cut out a few funny bits, while I thought others dragged out for too long, for example American Inventor. There was a funnier clip from that which didn't make it into the final edit.

They should do an 'uncut' show for the Tuesday night repeat (a bit like the BBC have done with HIGNFY) and air some of the stuff they cut out.

I'm wondering if they are saving bits for a, well I was going to say DVD release but we know that's a no-no. Perhaps they are going to have a few special shows in the year?
