Yea the show is funny, but the way it gets sexed up here, its like its amazing, genius etc. No its not, its just some bloke who notices some things from tv clips (which we all do now thanks to him and add the odd light hearted comment).

But to be fair, you wouldn't poke fun at them in the witty, sharp, and surreal way that he does. That's why it's so good.

Still a very popular show, regularly getting over 6 million - the only thing that's stopping it from getting 7 million on a regular basis is the fact that ITV is starting it before 7pm.

Well you cant say that on the basis of one outing after 7. I still watch it and like it, but the more i think about it, its niggiling at me...ill stop now

I think it's a fair enough comment to make. It's moved into the heart of primetime and its ratings shoot up. It goes back to a pre-7pm slot and the ratings slip back again.

Very good show indeed. I think that this has been my favourite of the series. There have been many funny moments over the last few episodes, but this has been the top one for me.
Even though it's very mainstream, I do think that quite a few of the jokes still boil down to Harry's humour and comidic style.
One of my favourites parts tonight was the Ape called Aye (sp?), which spilled out to a great moment for me.
Something occured to me the other day.
TV Burp is one of the only shows that I can remember ITV piloting (non drama that is), and when they did pilot it, it aired over Christmas sometime during prime time. Yet they chose to air the first few series in a late night slot. I just don't understand why they didn't get behind it from the off if the pilot did well.

I think it's kind of getting to be a victim of it's own success. There's been episodes which were genuinely absolutely brilliant - but it's never going to be like that for every episode in something like a 13-part series, so when one week some things do fall flat, you're thinking that the show has lost it.
