Harry was in an episode of Chucklevision this week, he's a main sub character and appears at the start. Looks like its just on the BBCi player for one more day.
Well, I enjoyed TV Burp tonight... though I did find the Vera's coffin bit a tad distasteful. But that's just me.
That was a bit uncomfortable really - I think the main problem wasn't so much the use of the coffin, it's just what they did wasn't really funny.
I agree, I thought it was distateteful to "see what happens" behind the curtains of the crem - regardless of whether the funeral was real or not. It just wasn't funny and the "joke" was so drawn out we were all shaking our heads in disbelief.
The return of the guy from BB ruined another part.
Last night's show was the worst of the series so far, in fact pretty crap all round I thought. It does have very high standards to keep up so the odd blip I can forgive!
It's called alternative humour - laughing at the things you know you shouldn't - nothing wrong with it really - if it was a REAL person then fair enough but it was referring to Vera's funeral in Corrie so nothing to get all excited about.
Remember the Microwaved cat (was if from Hale and Pace?) all those years ago - uproar - but it was funny!
I am sure if you email ITV they will consider putting in some Knock Knock jokes to bring it more mainstream and please the offended
I watch the show regularly, now i read on here and other places that Harry Hill is a genius etc. Thinking about the show, isint Harry just pointing out the obvious with a cheap gag inserted. I do find it funny, but its not laugh out loud stuff. What is Harry, is he a presenter, entertainer, comedian?

A comedian at heart. He had a few series on Channel 4 during the 90s before making his way to ITV.
This weeks brought the show back up from its poor episode last week. I have no idea why Brian keeps appearing, its completely pointless considering BB finished last summer.
Great episode though, the Vera's Coffin montage went on for too long but otherwise hilarious as always. I wonder if Holly from DOI saw it and will be wearing something not so revealing tonight lol.
I thought it was great last night, the Holly DOI bit was great and I did laugh at the Vera bit (it's only a joke, lighten up) although it did go on a bti too long.
Liked the Eastenders "Heather Hamster" bit as well

Alternative humour? I don't think you know the meaning of the term. It was far more "knock knock" than alternative - I wouldn't even really call it "black humour" (which I love) - it was a cheap coffin gag that scraped the barrel. I wasn't in the least bit offended - I thought it a bit sick - but I wasn't offended! Indeed, it made me smile at first - but then I thought, "what the hell are they doing here...?" It was a poor "joke" that was stretched out for far too long - that's what spoilt it.
Hale & Pace were fine for spotty teenage boys with low IQs.

Oh come on, it's just part of Harry Hill's "wacky" imagination, look at when he put the broccoli in the tray and said "if you look from above it looks like the end credits of Emmerdale".
Fair enough you didn't like it but it's hardly scraping the barrel or sick, it's been done before

Right up your street then
You're the one who liked the microwaved cat "joke". I gave up on H&P after their first series - it was juvenile crap.
