A Beadle edition of YBF would be nice but its not going to happen. At the most there will probably be a dedication at the end which is fair enough.

As for a mention in TV Burp - unlikely unless a sketch is done in relation to a Beadle prank. But it would have to be done in the right way.

EDIT: Crikey ITV are running early tonight.

Well, I enjoyed TV Burp tonight... though I did find the Vera's coffin bit a tad distasteful. But that's just me.

Also nice to see they ran a little "In Tribute to Jeremy Beadle - 1948-2008" - at the end of YBF.

That was a bit uncomfortable really - I think the main problem wasn't so much the use of the coffin, it's just what they did wasn't really funny.

It wasn't uncomfortable just went on a bit long in my opinion - I admit to laughing at the biscuit tin bit with Vera's ashes - anyone would think Corrie is real Smile

By the way Brekkie what happend to the Boy? Have you finally reached puberty Laughing

A.She's not real.
B.You cry if you don't joke.

I would have liked to see local people looking at a coffin in the playground because they did't know any filming was taking place... it would certainly make you look twice and wonder what was going on.

Looks like the 'required element' may become a regular part of TV Burp for now.

Excuse me, I'm quite aware that she's a fictional character. I don't think I need to be told that by anyone, especially you of all people.

And moving right on... I do hope Brian isn't a fixture on this latest series. I understand that his appearances can be looked upon as some kind of "running gag", but I find him so annoying.

I agree, I thought it was distateteful to "see what happens" behind the curtains of the crem - regardless of whether the funeral was real or not. It just wasn't funny and the "joke" was so drawn out we were all shaking our heads in disbelief.

The return of the guy from BB ruined another part.

Last night's show was the worst of the series so far, in fact pretty crap all round I thought. It does have very high standards to keep up so the odd blip I can forgive!

Each to their own. I was in hysterics all throughout that bit. And yes i've been to my fair share of funerals.

Agree about Brian though. It was funny how he appeared within the Eastenders gag, but he just went on for too long.
