A few good moments again this week, but overall weaker than last week. Best bit - Jim Branning and his errant hat.

A review - posing as a tongue-twister.

Um, so what's going on? They've now shunted the TV Burp repeat to a single showing on Wednesday at 23.00.

Oh, so then they changed it to Tuesday?! Great. Missed it. again. again. I know people have said it's not a particularly good one this week, but I'd still like to watch it. ITV2's scheduling leaves a lot to be desired.

It was excellent this week. I laughed out loud all over again with the repeat.

Quit moaning about missing it and set a reminder for it somwhere.

Although setting a reminder is going to be a bit pointless if the schedule changes at almost the very last minute.

Yes - this week's 2nd show was very good - I watched the recording I made today and it didn't disappoint me one bit. Unlike some others on here.

Roll on Episode 3! Very Happy

It won't change if you set a reminder for the saturday one.

I think saturday afternoon is a good time to have it.If you watch the pilot on the Avalon website [if you can!] it's interesting but it's a bit late-nighty.

The streaming clip seems to bail out after six minutes. From what I could see of the TV Burp pilot show, the opening titles
sequence and the title music don't seem much different to how they look now, just somewhat rough around the edges.

Here's a direct link to the pilot episode. (Windows Media Player required.)

And here's a few screengrabs . . .

I've got that pilot on video somewhere from when it aired on ITV1. I think the only differences were the logos on the wall, and the backing on the titles. I think it still had the fight, and TV Highlight of the week.

The only other think that they dropped was him entering as a different TV character. That week it was obviously someone from Hi Di Hi.

Very funny show tonight, material was a bit thin again, but it was good. Especially how changing a show's theme tune might chance the viewer's perception of the show, so Corrie was changed to The Professionals and ITV News was changed to Steptoe and Son! Laughing

I thought it was a very strong show tonight, lots of real laugh out loud moments - The theme music swap, bitter greetings cards, Mr Benn in EastEnders, Crazy Frog Fireplace, Rita on Deal or No Deal, Sending an e-mail after killing yourself, Fred and Rita's windows, Royal Anecdote of the week,

Who could forget 'How would we cope without Norwich?, Only Joking (turns to side), I love Norwich!

I can't believe he didn't do Holiday Showdown. There were loads of Harry Hill moments on there last week

"We've got some of their greatest hits..yeah..err theres..Two Pints of Lager and a sni..of scraps, Men Behoving Bladley, and er..The Vicar of Dibley hmm.." Laughing
