Somethings should never be recreated.
I'm really losing the will to live.

Is there no one in TV these days who can come up with something new and fresh.

I'll second that.

Beadle's about had me on the floor at times.

Beadles About was a great show., However if he's able to take over Jeremy Beadle (after other dodgy presenters like Mr. Wilkes) with YBF and he's made it funnier then what it was... hopefully Beadle's About will do the same.

However "Harry's About" isn't a very catchy title.

Hold on, who's going to not recognise Harry Hill in a beard ambling up to them? Laughing

I hated Beadle's About. What was so funny about making people think their possessions or property have been destroyed in a cruel and unusual way, only to be told their short lived grief was purely for our entertainment?

Sounds like what's been going on in Gloucestershire recently.

If it's not on par with the original, then it would be terrible to see a classic show format dug up just to be poorly imitated.

On the other hand, if it's all well thought out with respect to the classics then it'll be more than welcome in the schedule, compared to other genres which I grow a bit tired of.

Being an old idea, it's not innovative programming, but at the same time I wouldn't at all say it's being done to death in this age; so I'm hoping this will turn out alright.

Problem is that the original became a tired parody in itself. If they take inspiration from the later episodes, it will be a very poor show -- and don't count on ITV not to balls things up.

...But count on Harry Hill to piece it back together Smile
