Another ITV gameshow where the logo is letters on a shape with sparkly bits flying around it. Wow, the guy who designs these must use a template and edit it accordingly! Rolling Eyes

Isn't every logo essentially letters on a shape?

I think I prefer the one that has been used on the applications advert with the microphone behind.

What would you suggest for Stars in their Eyes?

The Stars in their Eyes logo was always a star with words on it...Why the need to change it?

My post earlier was to post the new logo not realising it was already posted a few weeks back.

I like the new logo. Quite reminiscent of the styling of the previous logos. Still hoping they don't murder the iconic theme tune though.

I found the original mic stand logo a bit tacky and cheesy so I'm glad to see that they've obviously decided that they don't wish for the show to head in that direction.

I don't think a pink logo was appropriate when you consider who's presenting, either. That blue logo is much more appropriate.

But I'd imagine they will want a full reboot with only the show name and format retained.

What do you base that on? Most major revivals have retained their original theme tune.

Family Fortunes had a new theme tune. Celebrity Squares had a new theme tune. I won't rule out this being given a new theme tune too.

Catchphrase and Fifteen to One kept their old themes. There's no pattern, some shows keep the theme when brought back after years off the air, others don't.

The most iconic sound for Family Fortunes was the "Uh-uhh" sound, as opposed to the theme tune, and the Celebrity Squares theme tune was hardly iconic. Catchphrase and 15-to-1 had far more memorable and iconic theme tunes. Stars in Their Eyes falls into the latter category for me, so I'd wager it's kept.
