I doubt it'd be the same without Hill as his style of humour works very well with the show. I can't think of anybody else who could match it. All I could see happening is TV Burp getting the axe, and a similar show starting with a different presenter and different name (I.e. Blind Date = Take Me Out)
Not surprised. I haven't really warmed to the viewer competitions and all the 'knitted character' stuff. It's still a great show but in recent years it's become less about the funny continuity in programmes and more about certain characters or presenters.
However, it's clear Harry and the team work very hard on the show. Perhaps it'll take on a Tarrant on TV style guise? If anything I can see it being part of another show and eventually disappearing, i.e. with Adrian Chiles, That Sunday Night Show.
A year or two too late really - the last couple of series have been quite poor. Lets just hope though nobody has any stupid ideas about replacing him - it would be doomed to absolute failure.
It'd be better if they can agree for him to do a few specials per year instead.
Coming up with a solid 8 weeks of funny clips in a single run must be difficult, but saving up 3 months of clips for a single show would be much easier.
I imagine many of you do like I do and see 'Harry Hill' type moments in programmes during a period TV Burp is off air that could be collected up every 3 months.
It wouldn't at all, all it is a compilation of TV clips with a few funny links combining them together. Harry Hill does a lot of silly stuff that makes it less funny.

Vernon Kaye is a good presenter, but he's not a comedian. Hill is. It takes a comedian to tackle something like TV Burp, otherwise it just becomes The Soup... I.e. not funny.
