Indeed - a Happy New Year to all TV Forum eh, forumers Smile

It's a sad state of affairs that Irish people have to depend on your superb broadcasters to welcome in the New Year. We hold a greater affinity with the stunning icon that is Big Ben and London's fireworks than pathetic ticker tape and jib-arm shots of Studio 4 in RTÉ, which embarrassingly finished neatly in time for bed at 11 minutes past midnight Rolling Eyes

Long may the BBC's extravaganza continue.
