Not quite sure were to put this, but this seems as good as any. Next Tuesday night at 11.35pm, Border actually gets a network opt-out to show a documentary on Scottish rugby

Guess this is either a STV show or an ITV4 repeat and only being shown because of the Rugby World Cup, but an opt-out anyway

Interesting. Is it being shown across the Border region (and not just the Scottish transmitters)? Are STV showing it too?

Nothing on STV anyway as we have Underbelly Uncut, and its now going out at 10.35pm on Thursday the 8th of September according to Radio Times. So it must be going out on the whole of Border instead of what was the old Border Scot.

Just said ITV1 Border in the Sunday Times Culture magazine. It doesn't include Scottish regional variations so I guess therefore the English part of Border will get it as well

I presume the English part of Border got the STV election simulcasts last year as well?

Border Scotland no longer exists. The Scottish election programming did indeed go out across the ITV Border area. Caldbeck does transmit two ITV Border channels, but the programmes completely identical. There's no "Border Scotland" on the Sky EPG either.

STV News (North) are broadcasting features on the 50th anniversary of Grampian all this week, also on the website of course.

Judging by those distracting scroll bars at the bottom they've taken most of those clips from an old documentary.

I dare say; * 21st and 30th Birthday shows. I have to say at least it does look like there making some effect.

it would be nice if there did even a 30min birthday show on Friday at 8pm.

Big shame that stv failed to recognise the importance of the last 50 years of itv in North Scotland!

There were several programmes in Scotland when Central Scotland reached the milestone a few years ago!

Typical stv bias I'm afraid....it only matters if it happens in Central Scotland.
