Another reader before joining. (Can't remember exactly when, but I remember one major crash after joining & having to re-register, & that bit about changing the e-mail address still don't work properly for me, without involving Asa, but worth the effort!)(Let us use Hotmail etc addresses please, then if I have a major system crash meself, at least I've got a working account, without having to re-register !)

Shame BJD ain't on anymore, 'cos I used to enjoy the 'discussions' re Trafficlink/MetroNetworks & BBC WM !

Was the Midlands thread on at that same time, or was that a general evolution ?

On behalf of everyone in my bedroom (just me then.. and whatever that is in my bed), happy birthday TV Forum!

This place will probably out-live the lot of us...

If it's only three years old, then I more or less joined at the beginning... and yet still nobody knows me! Sad

Anyhow, surprised Asa hasn't set up a "forum birthday paypal contribution fund" to keep the site going. Very Happy

You're not 'in' with the right people, same as me !

The same old people got nominated for those 'Best Forumer' polls, while us plebs never got a look in !

Equality for all, not just a certain few & their 'mates' !

I just want to tell you Westy that you're my favourite forum member. You're a seasoned member of the BBC Midlands and Central West thread commitee, and I don't know where we'd be without you keeping us up to date with WM news. I wouldn't have known that Mike Collie did breakfast a while back if it wasn't for you.

You are appreciated Westy... Very Happy

Woohoo - Happy Birthday TVF! Since I joined the forum back in 2002 a lot has happened in terms of TV:

Arrow ITV regional continuity gave way to "London taking over"
Arrow Carlton and Granada have finally merged
Arrow BBC Three / BBC Four launched
Arrow Re-launch from News 24 & ITV News
Arrow BBC 1 National re-launch (even if it did take a year for it to be fully complete!)

I'm sure there are many more things, but you get the idea. A lot of great imformation and commentry could always be found here on good ole TVF, so long may she reign!

Lol! It still isn't complete - there's supposedly the new vamps to come yet, but on their track record, it could be ages away yet!!

Other than the mods who has been here since the start? As many members from 2001 seem to have gone now.

I've been here since June 2001, I didn't visit regularly then, but now I visit almost every day.
