In 1987, WTTW Chicago was playing out Dr Who episode "The Horror of Fang Rock" when a prankster, somehow beamed to the main transmitter his weird broadcast wih muffled sound, and also partial nudity.

The same prankster did the same to another station WGN (The CW Chicago, but independent in those days).

This is a TV Forum, one of the things we discuss is TV cock-ups. That was a TV cock-up. Therefore, in my opinion, it is of some use.
