To their credit, UTV have mainly abandoned using Arial in their presentation, but it still crops up from time to time - the trailer end boards use either Lucida Console (probably the closest they have to the current ITV font) or Helvetica.
Have UTV not received a copy of the ITV fonts because they aren't part of ITV plc? Likewise, did the stv stations receive the ITV font package?
I remember in 1989 when ITV made its first major attempt at generic presentation across the network, UTV used the version of Palatino/Book Antiqua that was used on network trailers, end production slides and for the company name on the idents (although UTV never used their version of the ITV generic ident). However, apart from the end production slide and during Telethons '90 and '92, I never saw UTV making any use of the 1989 ITV logo.
