Absolutely hate these late night quiz/casino shows, but Quizmania gets a free pass - it was genuinely hilarious. And sadly no, that era died with QM left.
I think one of the best period's of nighttime TV has passed and that was with Quizmania 11 years ago! I don't think there is anything like this kind of programming now is there?

Personally I found QM better when it was on the ITV Play channel with the low cash prizes and slightly more anarchic. I found when it was on ITV that there was a tad too much ego from certain presenters when it hit its peak.
However, it did introduce the genius that is Greg Scott to the masses up at 3am.

I'm still recording ITV on Jan 1st anyway! Looks like my Sky box is going to go into overload.
I didn't mind QM, especially Sir Scott, but then there was The Mint. It was presented by Brian Dowling and Beverley French who - in the words of Adam Buxton as Ken Corda "was not a prostitute". It followed a similar pattern but was arguably worse, although admittedly the likes of Quiz Call were worse for the scandals.
In regards to the SuperCasino/Jackpot 247 situation:
I believe SuperCasino's last broadcast on C5 is early morning Jan 1st so set that to record that but Jackpot 247 is still going through

The Mint was ridiculous, the way they insisted they were in a mansion and got arsey when anyone mentioned a studio

So, you're recording both ITV and C5?

I only liked The Mint as I won £50 on it. It was at Maidstone Studios wasn't it?
