While we are on the subject of changes, it looks like radio 1 have re-kitted out one of their studios. On the webcam now it shows a nice rather cool looking studio.

And, of course, there's no good modern presentation at all, like, say, BBC Three.

Seriously, do you think BBC Three has good pres?

I think he means BBC Three has crap pres.

Don't presume to say what I'm thinking, dear.

The BBC Three blobs are amongst the best of modern TV presentation.

I couldn't agree more about the overall poor state of television presentation today. (although I don't actually think the current BBC One idents are too bad...)It is amazing how quickly (much TOO quickly) things change. It's always about 'moving with the times', and emphasis on how 'fast-paced' and 'dynamic' life is today, isn't it?

I was going through some old tapes the other day, and came across various ITV recordings from about 1996 - 1999. It is truly incredible to compare the general 'feel' of ITV just a few years ago to the steaming pile of crap it has become today. The formality of it back then would make it look like the BBC by today's standards!!!

Apologies for being a bit of a fence-sitter here, but whilst I really like the blobs themselves, the dark, bluey-grey background is just far too sombre for a supposedly lively youth-focused channel.

There is a thread for old recordings!
