As an admittedly young child, I'm 99% sure it didn't have an ATV logo at the start or end when it was first shown on Saturday nights on ITV in 1980/81.

I could be wrong, but I'm sure I saw a standard late 70's ATV COLOUR PRODUCTION after one of the episodes though, but memory could cheat though. (I would've been about 9 or 10 at the time!)

ATV were kings of Horror if I can recall.
I remember going to a wedding in Malvern and watch ATV for the first time, I was only 7 at the time and was allowed to stay up late. The whole family gathered around the TV to watch something that scared the pants off me. The Devil was killing people and replacing them with Skeletons!

I concur -- no ident or endcap when broadcast on Tyne Tees either. I remember being fascinated by this series as a kid, and will be programming TiVo to record this camp classic tonight
