The Guardian displayed its typical 'we hate Hamilton' stance today. Never fails to get a dig in at the couple.

For those of you unaware, The Guardian un-earthed this 'cash for questions' scandal quite a few years ago, and have persisted that their - somewhat dubiously credited - reports are still true. Hamilton is obviously trying to defend himself against the whole thing, so as you can imagine The Guardian don't get on very well with the Hamiltons.

It is true C@t. It was proved in the High Court

Must be true then. Everything in court is true, 100% the truth.

My arse.

I'm not fan of the Hamiltons, and it would surprise me not one tiny bit if the whole thing was true, but the fact that something is 'proven' in court is not enough to convince me, I'm afraid.

Anyway, it even if it is true it doesn't mean The Guardian have to be utterly pathetic about anything to do with the Hamiltons. It's such petty reporting and very childish. There's no need for them to write a bloody editorial every time they feel like having a dig at the pair, and I don't think they wrote an ed. this time, but it wouldn't surprise me. I just hope the columnist who wrote about them this time wasn't Hugo Young, may mercy be upon anyone who tries to understand what point this man is trying to make about... well, anything.

Hello all. I havent read the previous 4 or 5 pages of this thread but thought I might tell you all that the Hamilton's today were at Pinewood Studios shooting a special 'scandal/front page headine makers' version of The Weakes Link.

I won't digress right now into my experience there yesterday, or tell you that I stayed the night in their hotel (ho ho), but I felt the documentary in question painted a very positive picture of the couple. Its very easy to say 'well if they didnt do that then we might as well lambast them because they probably did this .' Its **** poor journalism of the worst kind, and the total shame of Britain. The rest of the world guffaws at our newspapers, and I dont bloody blame them.

Incidentally - Anne Robinson is a lovely lady but I have no doubt she will have cruicified them today....

Sorry I didn't realise you were able to attend throughout the entire libel trial and get all the evidence. The Jury did of course and they found in favour of the Guardian and Al Fyad. You ovbviously know better.
