He's actually told people before that he was the announcer on channels like Southern, Westward and Thames. At the same time. He would have been about 3 years old in many cases.
I couldn't care less about the rubbish he posts. What does get my goat is that clips of his have come dangerously close to being used in actual TV shows, found by researchers who believe his brand of lies to be an accurate representation of what TV used to be like here.

Why does that bother you so much? It sounds like your problem is with researchers who aren't very good at their job. If you can spot that Chris Williams is mistaken when he claims that website logos were on his original VHS collection and that he is misremembering when he claims to have worked on various 70s and 80s television stations then why can't someone who is paid to check these things?
To quote the great man himself, "I wouldn't do anything dishonest about your bum picture at all....", why not think about that before you criticise him?

Along with the fact that he claims that watermarks and newly created website animations are in his "original" 80s "vhs recordings" due to a technical fault? The man is a damn liar!

I have no problem with his 'mocks' if he labels them as mocks, it's his clip snatching and arrogant attitude that annoyed me, but I don't upload anymore, but even then he PM'd me a couple of times...
sent to me on the 20th June 2012, I hadn't even sent him any message or comment to justify this, and more bizzarely...

The problem Jon is that proper researchers use Youtube and come across his drivel.
He also doesn't believe that they are mocks, part of his 'delusion'.

I'd just get over it. It makes him happy. It's not really an important issue at best slightly annoying.
