No disrespect to Greg, but having had to endure QuizMania several nights this week, this sort of thing is totally out of place on ITV1. Another example of "chav tv".

Agreed, whilst Greg steers the programme excellent. It's far too easy programming for ITV to dump several hours at once every night. Although rumour as it that viewing for that time of night is quite high compared to what is on other channels at the moment.

Strangely enough I find both Greg and Debbie easy on the eye! Wink

You HAD to endure it? Although I have to admit, it's a bit disconcerting seeing 'programmes' like this on a 'proper' television channel. Did ITV have to run this past Ofcom before it started?

Needless to say ITV would have had to run this past Ofcom first, and, ever subservient to the broadcasters' business interest and not those of the viewers, Ofcom said yes no problem.

It would be more worthwhile using the hours for a PSB function, such as signed programmes or, dare I say it, schools programmes?

Have to say that Greg clearly is a genious. Given the copyright message at the end of that page identifying it as having been written in 1984, the man is clearly a prophet sent from God to be that accurate.

Don't worry Simon, the signed programmes during the night on ITV will be returning in the New Year. And for Scotland, the during-the-night Gaelic programmes will also be returning to the late slot.

Don't hold out on the schools programmes though, I'm sure ITV would be reluctant to bring back something they washed off their hands 19 years ago regardless of whether it's shown at 9.25am or post midnight.

Does anyone know for certain whether QuizMania is achieving higher ratings than the usual ITV night-time fare?

Of course he had to endure it. Simon is censor for all of the internet and all of TV. It's HIS approval and only his that ITV need to screen such things.

Anyway, great to see you last night Greggles, looking very dapper!
