Green Wing

Hello fellow TV Forumers!

I just did a search, to find a thread on 'Green Wing' but could'nt find anything.

It's returning for a one-off special in January, and would like to know if anyone knows when Series Three will start... or would this special that is on for nearly two-hours would be a subsitute for it?

Apparently there will be no Series Three, and so this special will be the final episode.

It is the last episode. I know, I'm upset as well. But this was filmed along with the second series, which itself was filmed last year - so it would be very difficult to get the cast back together. Anyway, the best comedies didn't run for very long - and I do think this show is one of the best shows to come out of Channel 4 for a very long time. I will miss it.

Although it is a great show Im glad there isnt a third series, the quality dropped in the 2nd series when compared to the 1st. Better to end it now and go out on a high, rather than ending up with endless poor quality new series.
