The United Kingdom does not include the Isle of Man (which lies between Great Britain and the island of Ireland) and the Channel Islands

Well I was born in Jersey, and i am classed as a "British Citizen" on my passport.

So yes i'm British, i live in a British place, so therefore it is Great Britain. Sod what those pages say

You had to pay £1 to enter anyway!! What a total rip-off - the BBC do this show ALOT better than ITV - and for free, too.

That's nothing, compared to the BBC's coverage of the Great North Run. There's no such place as the Great North.

No doubt vertain members of this forum with their high standards of spelling and readiness to attack others for lack of it will have been watching this programme with great interest.

I presume you mean "certain" as opposed to "vertain"...

It's the run that is great not the north,
it is the great run in the north..... not a run in the great north
